Before joining your video visit, we recommend you Check Your Connection to confirm that you have a strong internet signal and have granted both camera & microphone access. You can access this feature in the waiting screen as pictured above or you can test these settings before your video visit time by clicking Your Event, then click Check Connection.
Note: The following process will slightly differ depending if you’re using our App or Website Portal and the Check Connection Button will not be available until 5 minutes before your scheduled call.
For the App:
Click the Check Connection button on the waiting screen or event section to open the following setup process:
- Test Video: Can you see your video below? Click Yes after confirming.
- Test Mic: Click Allow for the pop up screen Requesting Microphone Access.
- Speak into the microphone and Click Yes after confirming it reacts to your voice.
- Audio will now play through your speakers Click Yes after confirming you can hear this playback.
For the Website Portal:
- The same steps will apply as above except you will receive pop up notifications at the top of your web browser for both the microphone and Camera access. Click Allow for both options
